Program Spotlight: Reading Partners
Reading Partners Connects is our virtual tutoring program where volunteers provide 1:1 literacy lessons to Kindergarten-4th grade students via our online tutoring platform using our evidence-based curriculum. Content integrates our trusted curriculum and lessons into innovative presentations to optimize student engagement and incorporate social-emotional learning (SEL) opportunities through relationship-building with tutors.
During the 2022-23 school year, Reading Partners was able to serve 6,067 students with a total of 169,604 tutoring sessions–both in-person and virtually through Reading Partners Connects. We are so grateful for the support of 7,395 volunteer tutors, like the employees at Five Below, who came together to help us accomplish our mission to get students the critical literacy supports they deserve to succeed in school and beyond.
